Marilyn Monroe was one of Hollywood's most glamorous and beautiful stars in 1950s, often cast as the dumb blonde in her movies, she astounded the press with her clever witticisms and cool one-liners.

Marilyn Monroe was born Norma Jeane Mortenson on June 1, 1926 and died on August 5, 1962. The circumstances of her death, from an overdose of barbiturates, have been the subject of conjecture. Though officially classified as a "probable suicide", the possibility of an accidental overdose, as well as the possibility of homicide, have not been ruled out.
